Takumi Brand Design

As someone with a passion for cars, car culture, and motorsports, I wanted to create a brand concept that blends the precision and craftsmanship of Japanese tuning culture with contemporary streetwear.

I developed the fictional brand Takumi Tuned, inspired by the Japanese word Takumi, meaning artisan or master craftsman. Within Japanese automotive culture, “takumi” represents a philosophy of modification that prioritises meticulous, human-centred craftsmanship and flawless performance over mass production. Each detail is considered, refined, and executed with intention. This concept translates that philosophy into a visual identity and apparel line.
