Takumi Brand Design

As someone with a passion for cars, car culture and motorsport, I wanted to create a brand concept that brings together the precision and craftsmanship of Japanese tuning culture with a contemporary streetwear aesthetic.

I developed Takumi Tuned, a fictional brand inspired by the Japanese word takumi, meaning artisan or master craftsman. The concept draws on a philosophy of meticulous, human-centred craftsmanship - where every detail is considered, refined and executed with purpose in pursuit of performance. I translated this ethos into a cohesive visual identity and apparel line that celebrates the intersection of automotive culture, craftsmanship and streetwear.
